ICCST-11 will be held in the Conference Center Lasaretti that is located nearby the city centre in Kasarmintie 13, Oulu. It can be reached by a 15 minutes walk from the coach and railway stations. For further information please visit www.lasaretti.fi

Lunches and tea/coffee are included in the conference fee. Lunches are served in the hotel restaurant during the hours stated in the program. Coffee/tea will be during the breaks.

A wireless Internet access (free of charge) will be available during the conference in the conference premises. You will need a laptop equipped with a WLAN card.

Smoking is not allowed in conference venue. Ashtrays are located outdoors. When going out, walk 15 metres left from the main doors.

First aid and pharmacy. If you need help, please contact any of the conference assistants or conference venue personnel. In case you need of doctor consult the registration desk to contact local health care services and hospital. There are many pharmacies (in Finnish APTEEKKI) in city centre.

Conference registration and information desk is located close to the conference venue. The personnel will be happy to help you, if you have questions concerning, for example, registration, hotel bookings, social events or transportation. The registration and info desk will be open every conference day from 8 am to 4 pm.

Conference assistants will also be happy to help you with practical matters. They will download the presentations to the computers and assist the speakers and chair persons in the lecture rooms.

Speakers’ service desk is located next to registration desk. Speakers are asked to bring their presentations to the speakers’ service desk for preview at least 3-4 hours before the time of the presentation; preferably the day before.

Taxi. There are several taxi stands around Oulu. Should you need to call a taxi just dial 0600-30081 (from the mobile phone).
