Introduction
The goal of the NMR research is to characterize physical properties of various molecules and materials applying modern experimental methods and ab initio and molecular dynamics calculations.
The research is very versatile and extensive, covering
a) various states of matter (gases, liquids, liquid crystals and solids, especially porous solids),
b) various NMR properties (nuclear shielding tensors, spin-spin coupling tensors and quadrupole coupling tensors, relaxation times and self-diffusion tensors) and even
c) biophysical and biomedical systems.
The group leader is professor Jukka Jokisaari.
