Lagotto Romagnolo is a fun curly coated breed. It is happy, loves company and is an easy breed to get along with. Lagotto loves to be part of everything you do.The breed belongs to spaniels and water dogs. It is the only breed bred to find truffels, and that is why it is also called a truffel dog. Lagotto Romagnolo breed comes from Italy.

Lagotto becomes very fond of its owner very easily. It is eager to learn everything new, which makes it easy to train. Lagotto likes children, but some dogs are reserved towards strangers. It has an extremely good nose. Lagotto does not have a drive to hunt.

Lagotto is a medium size dog, bitches are smaller than males.

The coat does not leave hair, but it is treated by cutting it shorter. The color of the coat can be yellowish white, white with brown or orange markings, brown, orange and roan. Lagotto can not be black.
