[Pond]

The course had ended, but due to the peculiar airline schedules, the flight back was on Monday.

Thus, we had one more day to explore the town. Here are some of the photos taken while wandering around.

To the left: A pond at one of the hills.

At the middle right of this photo is the harbor where our excursion to Kapisillit on Wednesday began. Seen from the top of a hill.

(This photo looks to the opposite direction from the photos on page 10. The large, red building is to the right of the first photo, and directly behind the camera in the second one.)

[Harbor]

Another view from the hill, toward downtown (located at the upper middle of the picture).

[Long buildings]

[Street sign]

A typical street sign.

Some of the street names were in Danish, while others were in Greenlandic.

[Globe]

A globe! This was found on the yard of a handicraft school.

I doubt the X near Madagascar marks the spot of ancient, sunken treasure; a more likely explanation is graffiti.

[Bus stop]

Another bus stop in its natural habitat.

A street near the shore.

[Town]

A particularly idyllic-looking building at the shore.

[Idyllic building]

Another view from the shore, from a different location nearby.
