In May 2004, the roof was painted "super white" (Toyota 040), which was immediately noticable in terms of reduced heating due to solar radiation.
Before painting the rest of the body, the stripes on the sides were removed with the help of a heat gun. The glue was a tough case, but turpentine and soap did the trick.
Early August 2004: roll-out after painting the body "beige" (Toyota 464).
