My research focuses on the development and application of advanced NMR methods to characterize the structure and properties of variable materials. The most interesting ones are porous materials, like novel organic cages and natural shales. I am studying also Xe encapsulating supramolecular materials as well as structure of modified lignin. The NMR methods include NMR cryoporometry, 129Xe NMR, relaxation and diffusion measurements and variable multidimensional experiments. I am also doing theoretical modeling of Xe NMR parameters using first principles methods, such as DFT (Density Functional Theory).
